LAOSD is a non-profit organization that continues to put community first. San Diego is home to one of the largest populations of Lao Americans. At this year's festival night market, we aim to showcase the diverse and rich cuisine of Laos. The event will feature authentic food, cooking competitions, local vendors, and a rich cultural experience. Our Story

Lao Americans Organization of San Diego (LAOSD) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering the Lao American community through education, cultural preservation, and social engagement. LAOSD is a grassroots, volunteer-led organization committed to empowering the Lao American community. We’ve driven significant advocacy, such as the inclusion of Laotian American Refugee History in California schools, and continue to build this momentum to support and elevate underserved communities.
